The idea behind the pillow lounge was to create a minimal form supported by a light weight steel base.
The steel tube base appears to just touch the seat.
Scale models were used to develop the form before a prototype was made.
CAD geometry was built in Solidworks using a combination of surface and solid modeling techniques.
Keyshot was used to visualize CMF options.
